At AWSC, our most important job is providing coaching to our wonderful members. Having said that, it is our greatest pleasure to see our members business grow!

Ursula is an AWSC Member who loves to have fun and is always such a joy to be around!

Here’s what Ursula has shared about herself, in hopes that all of our members, both new and old, can learn and thrive with her:

What is your biggest business challenge?

Knowing and owning my own personal brand. I need to become incredible comfortable in my own skin and then live that in my business so that people know why they want to do business with “me” . Part of this will be my business Facebook page and other web presence. It’s being the BEST “ME” that I can be—not comparing “my business” to what others are doing.

What’s your favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere on the Jersey Shore!! (Or Austria before Christmas)

When you aren’t busy being an entrepreneur, what are you doing?

I coach a HS Science Olympiad Team—an amazing group of young adults. There are 23 different events and we are now gearing up for the next competition—March 5th—which, if they do well—qualifies them for the State competition. I love the program for how it emphasizes team work and along with very in-depth content—much of it College level! They are building robots, modeling proteins, competing in Forensics…and it’s a blast! My ambit business allows me the flexibility to work with them during the day and after school—otherwise there is no possible way I could do this!

If you could meet  one person alive or dead, who would it be? Why?

My grandfathers and my great grandparents. I know that’s more than 1! I was born in Austria and grew up in the states. I would love to sit down with them and just get to know them. I was able to get to know my grandmothers somewhat—My husband was in the military and we were stationed in Germany for 7.5 years—so we got to go visit my extended family several times!

What is one thing you wish someone would have told you when you were 13?

Compete against yourself. It is nice if you come in first–but how much more could you do if you focused on being your very best–period—and not just better at something compared to others. (I was in HS speech and debate and several other competitive clubs and have always enjoyed “competition”)

Any last thoughts?

LOVE AWSC!! The mentoring has been making a huge difference “inside” of me and this will be impacting the actual working out of my business.
